Spokeshave 550 Concave

The Clifton 550 Concave Spokeshave may be used instead of a drawknife to chamfer square timber, but it is more often used as a delicate tool by furniture makers to shape curves like cabriole legs or for blending in curved surfaces made by machine such as posts and stair rails. All Clifton Spokeshaves are made from malleable iron. The surfaces are finished to give maximum comfort in the hand.
