Sawbuck Bench and Table Woodworking Plan

Make this early Pennsylvania style Sawbuck Bench and Table for your dining room. Originally designed to be made using oak and a walnut top. The sturdiness of the design allows the use of pine (except for the keys that lock the stretcher in place). When using treated lumber, this design would make a great picnic table. Joinery is shown in actual size while curved workpieces are all in full size. You can measure and trace straight from the drawing. Includes A bill of materials which doubles as an exact cutting list, a detailed exploded diagram, and all hardware requirements. The exploded diagram is so detailed that project specific assembly instructions are not provided.
