Hard Wax Oil Hardener – 4 oz

General Finishes® Hard Wax Oil is a urethane-enhanced oil wax finish that, used alone, is very durable, but in high-traffic or hard-use areas, you might want something a little more durable. The folks at General Finishes came up with this hardener. ½ tsp of Hardener per 2 oz of Hard Wax Oil not only increases hardness but also speeds up drying time. The Hardener only works with General Finishes Hard Wax Oil. Below are instructions for mixing. Remember, you have to use what you mix up – unused oil cannot be saved for later use. Add 10% General Finish Hardener by volume (for example, 1/2 tsp per 2 fluid oz) to General Finish Hard Wax Oil. Stir mixture well before applying. Caution: Finish may only be mixed once. Mixed product will harden in 4 to 6 hours.
