E-Z Hex™ Threaded Insert for Soft Wood (Flanged) provides everything needed to repair or reinforce threaded holes, specifically in softwoods like pine, MDF, plywood and composition board. It is ideal for applications where assembly or disassembly could lead to erosion, stripping or other types of damage to the material. Installation is done with a 6 mm hex wrench. Some uses include, but are not limited to, shop jigs/fixtures, drawer pulls, knock-down furniture, display cases, beer tap handles and outdoor furniture.
