Dozuki Crosscut Saw – 180 mm – No. 290

Razorsaw® Dozuki No. 290 is a single-edged crosscut saw with a stiff back plate for straight and accurate cuts in materials up to 1-3/8″ thick. The curved tip blade of this “Usuba” type saw allows for entry cuts mid-panel on a flat surface. We liken saws with a 180 mm/7.1″ length blade to small English Gent Saws because they are short enough to carry in a toolbox or bag and are good at cutting tenons and dovetails. Yet, they are more practical because the impulse-hardened, super-sharp teeth are durable and make short work of a variety of tasks. Ergonomic thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) handle (power grip) improves handling and comfort.
