Bolivian Coffeewood (Momoqui) is a dense hardwood known for its consistent color, ranging from dark green to rich chocolate brown. The refined palette is enhanced by a distinctive mosaic grain reminiscent of its Lapacho and Ipe relatives. Extremely durable – three times harder than American Walnut, this South American hardwood turns and finishes exceptionally well, making it an excellent choice for small specialty projects, accents, tool handles, and fine turning work where strength and visual impact matter.
