A Scorp is essentially a right-angled gouge designed for carving areas where the entire length of a gouge will not fit. Knife carvers find them useful for hollowing deep, narrow cavities. Each razor-sharp blade in the Flexcut® KN150 Right-Handed Scorp Set is dual-tempered high carbon steel offering extreme edge holding properties with a tough, flexible shaft. The black oxide finish is part of the steel itself which will not crack, peel or rust if cared for properly. Comfortable fixed ash wood handles provide a controlled grip allowing the hand to remain relaxed by keeping the force of the stroke in the heel of your hand, preventing fatigue. Set includes all 4 right-handed profiles, a tool roll and a custom molded strop to maintain your razor-sharp edges.
